Before we even picked up our guitars he told me a story:
"One day there was an older man walking through the woods. It was his usual route. The forrest gave him peace and quiet he needed desperately after a long hard day of work. But this time it was latter then usual. It was starting to get dark.
As he was strolling through the forrest, lost in his thoughts,
but a scream for help brought him back to reality.
He was surprised, because this wasn't a well known path.
Most of the time he was the only one! Once again he heard a scream for help.
The older man started to follow the desperate sounding voice. Once again he heard:
"Help! Help! Can anyone hear me?"
Now the older man started to run towards the sound.
Once he got there he was in shock. There was a pit and a man had fallen inside it. He was full of mud and out of breach when he said this:
"Oh thank gunnes! I've been trying to get out of here since this morning!
I've tried EVERYTHING, but there is no way I can make it on my own.
The pit is just too deep!
So I've been screaming for help and you were the first one to find me.
Can you please get me out of here? "
The older man said:
"Sure, no problem! But under one condition.
The next time you see someone with the same problem you are in right now,
you'll help him/her out too. Can you do that?"
"Sure thing", the man replied and the older man helped him get out of the pit and both were able to go home to their families.
